Vegan Things to Do in L.A. This Weekend: September 13-15
We search the web for the best vegan things to do in the city, so you don’t have to. Here’s what’s happening this weekend.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 13
Join the March of Silence at Grand Park for animal rights panels, vegan food, art installations, and more.
Enjoy a six course plant-based meal, alongside complimentary wine pairings, at the Kimpton Everly Hotel in Hollywood.
Come for the tequila at Block Party, stay for the wide array of vegan Mexican food, and continue to stay for more tequila.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 14
Live music, open air, vegan food, and plenty of drinks make this a perfect destination for a night out in Downtown.
Weekends are the perfect time for learning a new skill. Join Chef Ron at SunCafe for a raw vegan cooking class.
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 15
Old Stump Brewery will pit Evolution Burger, Jades Vegan Sushi, Lobo Cuba Food, and other SoCal vendors against each other in an epic “knife fight,” aka an Iron Chef-like showdown between chefs. Grab a beer, order from your favorite pop-up, and enjoy the competition! Our founder, Maggie Ortlieb, will be on the judges panel.
Meet the love of your life or have fun trying.
Feast on nachos, tostadas, tacos, and cheesecake at the Brentwood Farmers Market from 9am-2pm!
Head to MacArthur Park for vegan food, talks on compassion, and reggae acts from Jamaica, SoCal, and St. Croix.
Vegan Exchange (formerly Vegan Sunday) has special summer evening hours. From 4-9pm, stroll Bakman Ave in NOHO looking for your next food and Instagram story victim. Night owls rejoice!
