Vegan Faire Returns to Anaheim on Saturday, July 27
The Sixth Annual Vegan Faire will be coming to Anaheim on Saturday, July 27th. From 4-10pm, the free event—hosted by vegan eatery Healthy Junk—will take place in the city’s Center Street Promenade and feature an array of vendors, offering food, goods, entertainment, and more.
With an emphasis on world peace and sustainability, this year’s fair theme is “We Are the World.” “We need a community gathering in every city, a coming together,” said Lynda Santos, Healthy Junk’s Executive Chef. “I wanted to bring in new people that might be afraid to try vegan food, that it would be an opportunity for them to see what it’s all about.”
Featured live entertainment will be representing cultures across the globe, and the variety of over 100 stands set up by vegan eateries and local artisans will focus on sustainability. Plus, Anaheim artist Franky Castle will be inviting attendees to participate in a collaborative art project titled, “Hands Across the World.” Additionally, along with the expanded footprint, festival goers can get a taste of tropical beverages at the beer garden that will be hosted by the Anaheim Fall Festival.
Admission and parking are complimentary thanks to Vegan Faire’s sponsors: Califia Farms, CtrCity Anaheim, Paul Kott Realty—Debbie Esquivel, City National Bank, and Farmers & Merchants. For more information visit veganfaire.com.
