Burger King’s Impossible Whopper is Going Nationwide August 8

The Burger King Impossible Whopper will be available nationwide starting August 8. Over 7,000 Burger King locations across the U.S. will have their meatless Whopper burgers up for sale for a limited time. After being previously launched in select restaurants only, such as those in St. Louis, MO; San Francisco, CA; and Las Vegas, NV; the Impossible Burger will be on BK menus everywhere soon. “We are really excited to be able to offer our new Impossible Whopper to our guests across the country at an unbeatable value for a limited time,” said Chris Finazzo, president of Burger King North America. “Since we first launched our market tests in St. Louis in April, and later in six other markets across the country, we’ve heard great feedback and know the Impossible Whopper appeals to both current guests who are already big fans of the Whopper sandwich, as well as new guests who are excited about this new option.”

Burger King’s Impossible Whopper Sandwich consists of a flame-grilled Impossible Burger patty, which is made mostly of soy and potato proteins, topped with tomatoes, lettuce, mayo, ketchup, pickles, and white onions all on a sesame seed bun. To easily make it vegan, all you have to do is request it be made without mayo. While available, the Impossible Whopper will be on sale for $5.59. Get hyped to stop in at your local Burger King to try it out soon.
